IM A BUSY BEE!

Hello everyone! So sorry i haven't had time to post! I've been so incredibly busy with new quilts and projects! Plus my computer was down for 3 weeks.. But i'm back, so don't you worry! Me and my boyfriend of 45 years (i'm still waiting for a ring!) got our Christmas card pictures taken! But none of our cats wanted to be in the picture! :( So it's just the two of us instead of the eight of us.. HAHA! Just kidding! My husband Jim and I (who have absolutely 0 cats), and our car did get pictures taken though! I'll post a few below. Have an wonderful week everyone!

PS. I made my boyfriend (of 45 years) shirt! Isn't it cute? He loves Hot Rods.

Bags, bags, bags!

Hello again! Just wanted to do a quick post about some bags i've been working on!
This is a bag i've been working on. It's knitted and i'm teaching a class on it at Scrap Apple Quilt Shop in January.
These are the bags that i send back my customer quilts in. They used to be green, but then i changed to red because i was bored with the color!
Have a great week!

Busy Week!

Hello everyone! Today has been a busy day! My assistant and I got all of my quilts organized, and I finished up a quilt! We're spending a lot of time cleaning and getting organized this week! This week we have people coming in to learn how to learn how to use their new Inovas at the training center. It's always fun to meet all the quilting ladies and see how excited they are to learn how to use their machines! I can't wait to get started on all my new projects! What are you working on? (:

Back From Playing Hooky!

Hello everyone! I just got back from San Antonio, Texas. I went because I was catching up with my old 7th grade girlfriend. It's been about 7 years since we've seen each other. We were going to have our 40th High School Reunion this year, we kept looking on the website to see who was going.. but we never saw anyone we knew! So we decided to have our own reunion in San Antonio! We ate lunch at P.F Changs, did PLENTY of shopping, and had an amazing time! We headed up to Kerriville, where my friend and her husband own an RV Park for those really expensive coaches. I had my first experience of being a food server! They have a big barn there where they serve food to different groups of people, the week before i got there they had served 250 people a sit down dinner! Luckily when i served there was only 40 people! My job was putting the cole slaw on everyones plate.. Is it cole slaw or cold slaw? You know.. that cabbagey salad. Anywho, below are pictures of the trip! Enjoy!

Butterfly Fly Away!

Hello everyone! I just finished this quilt i've been working on. It was brought to me by a client who always chooses the cutest colors for me to work with! I also used some Superior Threads thread from the "Bright" collection. They are very thick and add a lot of detail! I enjoyed each and every minute i spent with this quilt, let me know what you think about it!

Wow! What an AMAZING week! Renee Haddadin was teaching at Let's Quilt for 4 days, she took us on an awesome journey. A lot of new friendships were made. If you ever get a chance to take a class from Renee, don't miss out on the opportunity! It's definitely my favorite class i've ever taken. Thanks Renee! From, Everyone at Let's Quilt.
Here's Renee working on her sample..

How's this for eye candy??
We were working with Superior Threads Razzle Dazzle.
It comes in 25 delicious colors!
Shirley, who was in the class, purchased them all.
Lucky girl!

On another note, here's my finished quilt!
It's hanging now in Scrap Apple Quilt store,
with the class to be taught on the 15 of October.

It looks to be a quiet week this week..
Just catching my breath and working on some clients quilts.

I am fixing a special little luncheon for the girls on Monday, i will be fixing a broccoli quiche and a delicious butter lettuce pear salad! It will be a long and crazy week for me, but I'm looking forward to it! I will try to take pictures and keep you updated. Have a great week everyone! I'll talk to you all on Sunday.
