The Lady Bug Quilt

This is the lady bug quilt. It was made by my friend Iris for her granddaughter. I quilted this for her on my longarm machine. It took 15 hours and had 16 stops and starts in one block...whew...... but the end result is great!

Duck Creek Quilt Weekend

This was such a fun weekend we made the bookin it bag and the wallets to match. Thank goodness there were three heads in on this one that pattern was really hard! It took a good eight hours for each bag......

Winter Garden

This is the first quilt on my new blog of many more to follow. Since it is a little chilly outside... I decided to make my very own "Winter Garden" of all the beautiful flowers I can enjoy right here in my studio on my new quilt. I love all the colors of red, yellow, and gray. My favorite part of the quilt is the fantastic red poppies!! It has fabulous vintage buttons and ric rac from Road 2 California. It adds so much charm and just makes me smile.

From Wildflowers to "One Wild Stitch"

I know all of you followers of Wildflowers gift shop have been wondering what I'm up to and I want to thank all of you for your love and suppost these last 10 years. I have loved watching your children grow and being a part of all your "mountain time". I loved inspiring you to make your mountain getaway your sacred space. I hope you enjoy my new studio and I would love to hear from each of you let's keep in touch. The world is changing and we are too, but the one thing that can always bring us home and give us pleasure is our creativity. Use it - love it- embrace it- and it will make you whole even in these uncertain times. It's like a form of meditation, centering us, and letting all burden's fall away from our hearts. Welcome to One Wild Stitch... Come play with me!!
