There have been some awards that came thru... this one titled Day Of The Dead was so special to me. This quilt begged to be called the girlfriend quilt because I was with my girlfriend gathering all the fabrics in so many locations we were in. My quilts take so long,,,, not a fast process a couple of years but never working on anything all the time lots of stuff going on all the time. A little here a little there.. A few weeks ago it took Judges Choice in the state show here in St George Utah. This quilt makes me smile!

i've been a little busy

i want to share a photo will you       it's my aunt millies garden I had so much fun working  on this one. It took 2 years to complete the applique and it seemed like 2 years to quilt it. I used a layer of quilters dream puff on the bottom and quilters wool on top and glide thread in split pea on the outside border inside of the blocks glide black......more posts to follow
